@larand I mean in the wrists. I've tried playing without picks a few times due to not having any around, but that never ends well. Having a pick bag on the neck helps with the not having picks around problem, though.

@hazardwarning Scruggs-style (bluegrass banjo) is much faster; I could see that hurting after a while…

@hybotics I really recommend the Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Plus --- chamomile, mint, and valerian root. It's usually helpful for me.

@streakmachine After I posted that, I realised that I got the idea from @wally to get a matcha tea set and actual matcha too. Occasionally I'll spend the extra effort to make a decent cup of that.
@streakmachine Maybe it makes me sound pickier than I am --- I grew up near Celestial Seasonings, but the only herbal tea I'll drink anymore is their sleepytime tea (and fruit teas do nothing for me), the rest just don't do anything for me and I don't see a reason to buy them. I'm generally pretty simple when it comes to tea; I have my staples (Earl Grey, Irish Breakfast, and PG Tips being what I can get at my local grocery store), but I'm open to any of your garden variety black, green, white, red, etc teas.
@streakmachine Reminds me, I could stand to pick up some more Darjeeling; I find Earl Grey or Yorkshire are my day teas, and Darjeeling is nice in the evening. I still have some Chinese green tea one of my coworkers brought back with him while he was visiting family, but there's no substitute for þe old cuppa good strong black tea.
@hybotics We've a few days of sun before it gets back to raining, trying to make the best of it…
